We all know beauty and nature often go hand in hand, we all know that often our greatest attempts pale in comparison not just aesthetically but in every other eco-logical aspect thinkable, however even with this knowledge every now and again we manage to see just how truly awesome nature is at surprising us and smacking us in the face with this truth. Places that have existed for many thousands of years still strike us and leave us with our jaw dropped open; and as we stare into a paradise we cannot help but ask “how?” which oftens leads us to the next question ”why?”, before you know it, you’re asking yourself “is there a creator?”…
Welcome to the jaw dropping beauty of Plitvice Lakes National Park , the oldest national park in Southeast Europe and the largest national park in Croatia. The national park was founded in 1949 and is situated in the mountainous karst area of central Croatia, at the border to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
